Postdoctoral Researcher (for developing novel biomedical engineering solution to detect stroke)
The Faculty of Biomedical Science and Engineering at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) is looking for a Post-doctoral researcher to work in a collaborative project with Helsinki and Easter Finland Universities that develops novel impedance tomography methods to identify stroke in brain. Our tasks in the project include development of the 3D physical and numerical phantoms for the studies and taking part on the design of the measurement system. Experience and knowledge on medical imaging, image analysis including segmentation, FEM modelling of physiological systems especially bioelectric fields and/or bioelectric measurements are appreciated. The project offers interesting topic on novel biomedical engineering technology including numerical modelling with strong collaboration with applied mathematics and physics groups in collaborating universities.
Application deadline is 28 April 2017. Read more and apply on TUT open position website.
