The Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) has launched a new Master’s degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and Engineering that will begin in autumn 2018 – the application is now open!
The Master’s degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and Engineering offers an international and multidisciplinary environment to learn from esteemed scientists at the faculty. The degree programme will provide students with broad career possibilities, equip them with expertise in advanced technologies at the engineering and health sciences interface as well as professional know-how for working in the industry, hospitals or in the academic world.
Three majors are available in the programme:
- Health Technology and Informatics
- Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering
- Biomedical Micro- and Nanodevices

The application period for English-language Master’s degree programmes at TUT is 13.12.2017–17.1.2018. More information on the application period can be found on the TUT webpage. Applications to the programmes are submitted online at Studyinfo.fi. The application period ends on 17 January 2018 at 15.00 (GMT+2).
